It could have been 12 years now if I did not leave Bahrain 3 years ago, for good. It was in year 1999 on this same day when I first left the Philippines. My first time to leave the country and my family and live alone in a strange land overseas. Too bad, digital camera wasn’t still available during that time, otherwise, I would’ve posted some photos taken on my very first trip like how my brother did 2 years ago, on his very first trip as an OFW.
Yes, just like my dad and I, my only brother is also an OFW for almost 2 years now.
The photo above was taken at the airport in November 2009, 10 years later when I first went abroad. I was still pregnant here with my 2nd born. See more photos here.
